  • FOUNDED in 1986, Smiles and Frowns Playhouse serves as a venue for childern K-12 to explore all aspects of theater with adult supervision. Since 2001, the playhouse has made its home at the Ayden Arts and Recreation Center while showcasing youth from across Pitt County and eastern North Carolina. Come join our "staff" of volunteers and help support premier children's theater in eastern North Carolina!
